Jimena Furie is a 17-year-old writer from Southern California with a deep passion for children’s literature. From an early age, she began crafting stories that explore friendship, kindness, and empathy, inspiring young readers to see the world with an open heart.

Her debut book, La Noche de Halloween, blends imagination, warmth, and timeless values in a charming tale about discovery and togetherness.

Jimena’s love for the Spanish language and storytelling grew through her participation in a Dual Immersion program, which she attended throughout elementary, middle, and high school—a formative experience that has shaped her unique voice as a bilingual storyteller.
